This is a personalized, customized ceremony that it linked to another ceremony that will be held on Walpurgisnacht. Although it follows the sentiment of a Satanic ritual, please bear in mind that this ritual is non-traditional. It has been customized for maximum impact in the ritual chamber. It is for this same reason that some readings from the Satanic Bible have been removed and alternate text (of arguably more relevant context) have replaced it. That said, this psychodrama can be performed in the creative abyss of your own mind rather than the real world IF you are creative enough to sink yourself that deeply into it. It is strongly recommended that if you were to go this route that you would still listen to the ambient music and still physically touch your totems.
I have shared some commentary on the best way to set up your altar within the instructions below. Not shared is information about attire. It is traditional to wear all black for Satanic Rituals, and if you are female to don something that enhances your power as a lady—usually by wearing something promiscuous. This is up to you. My suggestion is to wear whatever aids you in recognizing your own inner black flame. You are a god. Be sure to dress like one… Shall we begin?

I promised recently that I would share with you a slice of our ceremony so that if you were interested in celebrating with us on Walpurgisnacht you would be able to do so. There is a little bit of prepwork involved, and while most if not all of these things should be available there is a chance that maybe you need a little time to put it together so here is a list of materials that you will need for the ritual which I will release to you on Walpurgisnacht eve.
Are you aware of the Satanic Ceremony taking place next week on Walpurgisnacht? It’s a pretty important one for me in particular, and it’s not because the occasion is as rare as Haley’s Comet (It's rarer). It’s something that my fiancée and I have been planning for the past two years, and there will never be anything like it, I can guarantee it. Some of you may be aware, but for those who don’t: my Satanist fiancée and I are getting married, and the Satanic Wedding Celebration will be Walpurgisnacht.
Most people tend to look at something important that is desired with a sense of longing, as if they’ll never be able to achieve such a thing. Most people are too afraid to try, lest they fail, but most people are not you. If you want to learn how to achieve happiness in this temporary existence that we share here in this world, you’ll need to learn how to take big projects (big desires!) and break them down into something actionable. There is no use in having Satanic Power if you’re not going to use it for something. There is no point to Satanic Lesser Magic if you’re just going to chaotically mess with people for temporary amusements. Big effort reaps big rewards, but it doesn’t need to be as intimidating to you as it seems to everyone else. Let’s talk about Satanic goal setting. Acronyms are beloved because they’re easy to remember, and I’ve gone ahead and assembled one for you which should hit close to home:
This week in Unholy Book Club we wrapped up our discussion about the Six Satanic Laws of Power as found in “The Satanic Warlock” by Magister Dr. Robert Johnson. This may have been one of our best discussions on the matter so far so if you weren’t able to be a part of it, I highly recommend swinging by the Unholy Book Club chat to review as it’ll certainly be worth your while, and I also thoroughly recommend grabbing a copy of “The Satanic Warlock” for yourself since although we discussed some of the points in this book, there is no way that we would be able to discuss all of the great tips Magister Johnson has therein from his perspective as a successful Satanic Warlock.
If this is your first encounter with the Six Satanic Laws of Power, you may be interested to check out part 1 of this series where we discussed the Satanic art of seduction and guerilla invisibility! This time we dove into the idea of such fun areas as how to be as cunning as a fox and how to take power when it demands to be seized! This past week in Unholy Book Club, a book club where we Satanists and those interested in Satanic written philosophy gather to discuss it, we reviewed “The Satanic Warlock” by Magister Dr. Robert Johnson. It’s a book which has been in my “Must read” list for some time, but I never had the excuse to order it before I lead a round of discussion. The topic I chose to talk about was the 6 Satanic Laws of Power. I felt as if I could personally verify some of them due to my own experiences and I wanted to hear some of the thoughts of some of the other Unholy Book Club attendees. Magister Dr. Robert Johnson explains to us in The Satanic Warlock what he considers to be the Six Laws of Satanic Power. Clearly, since this is written with the male warlock in mind, a male warlock would be able to apply these to their own lives, but what of the female witch? The answer? Read on.
Nobody knows everything, and everybody's wrong about something! What's important is that we recognize our weaknesses and our misconceptions and endeavor to correct them. I won't pretend that I'm some sage-like-figure when it comes to Satanism: I can only speak for my own experiences and that's what I'm going to share with you now. Sometimes we tend to forget that everyone's path in Satanism is a little bit different. We read the Satanic Bible and see ourselves within the pages, but are we also imposing our understanding on other people as well? Here you'll find nine of the top misunderstandings that I've seen Satanists hold without reserve! What do you think? Are you guilty of any of these, or are you cleverer than the average Satanist?
That’s right, a Satanic Goddess. Can you imagine what it’d be like to date one? I’ve heard that we Satanic women are far and few in-between, and I can only speculate the reason since the claim itself is rather unverifiable due to the clandestine statistics of the matter. Luckily for you, I’ve done both: dated a Satanist and a non-Satanist. As a matter of fact, I’ve only ever dated one Satanist, but the experience stood out to me as one of the most—well, I’ll tell all about it. Before I do however, I’d like to remind everyone that this is the account of one experience, and in no way am I saying that every experience is going to match mine. I’ve dated men, and I’ve dated one woman. The boys were all pastor’s sons with the exception of one—Yes, I seem to attract a certain personality type, don’t I? It should come as no surprise to you, as I am exactly what I am… Let’s get our hands dirty. There are three main courses of a relationship that we’re going to break down here: physicality, intellect, and spirituality.
Satanism is not a religion that you can convert to. According to our founder, Anton LaVey, all Satanists are born Satanists, not made Satanists. There is no initiation ritual. There is no vow or commitment that can help you “become” a Satanist. You’ll never hear us proselytizing to you or luring you to the dark side, and it’s not because we’re the narcissistic elite who think ourselves better, nor is it because we’d judge you as unworthy for bending at the knee to a god with mind-sterilizing dominion (though you really…should probably reconsider that decision, perhaps.). That impenetrable shroud which folds the line between our ways leaves many of you to wonder: what is it like to be born into Satanism? You crave to know the secrecy that happens behind the curtain, so allow me to draw it back for you and confront you with the world-shattering truth: nobody is actually born into Satanism. Blasphemer! Heretic! The Satanic Bible states otherwise, Witch, as you, yourself, have only seconds ago stated! Don’t worry, curious friend. Take a walk with me and let’s talk about how the world turns.
Hail thyself! You are a god! It’s tempting to rest on our laurels with respect to this mindset. We like to imagine that since we simply are born the way that we are, that the natural attributes of a Satanist come along with it. The truth is, as a Satanist we must constantly strive to nourish our roots or our blossoms will wither, and exercising our perspective is no exception. It’s a critically important skill that helps us out yes, in general, but also specifically towards warding off psychic vampires. Only when you lose your perspective of the forest through the trees can you fail to see the circles that these types of individuals wind around you.
That accident lives in my memory as if it happened just yesterday, but the thing that I remember the most was the shock I had over the first thing to run through my head. I was nineteen, I’d just gotten my license, and I’d rear-ended someone. They looked pretty pissed. I looked pretty pale. I knew what had happened: it was my fault. I’d gotten carried away, I’d been careless. I’d made some assumptions about the behavior of others, and my assumptions were faulty because I lacked experience in reading others on the road. There was nothing else to do now but call the police and bear the penalty for my poor judgement, but all the while I couldn’t shake that single thought in my head: “I wish I could get a re-do.” Oh, what I wouldn’t have given for that! My father was going to slaughter me. My freedom was about to be jailed. My record was tarnished, and never would I be able to go back in time and change what’d happened because that’s just not how life worked. It’s a curse of being young, but it’s a burden that lessens as time makes us stronger, and I’m lucky: I’ve learned a great deal over the years but in its place I’ve picked up a different sort of burden. Now? Now I suffer watching youth make the same dangerous decisions I did, and youth, exciting as it is, rarely allows someone to slow down, take a breath, and listen to the sage advice that’d make life a little easier.
Everyone has those days where your emotions want to run away with you for one reason or another. The religion I was raised in taught me a lot about how to suppress emotions but never really control them. My Satanism includes the responsibility of self, and that includes being able to be responsible with your emotions. I found my own thoughts written in the pages of the Satanic Bible when the founder described his opinion that letting emotions die in darkness only poisoned the body.
It's important to acknowledge and let yourself feel, whatever emotion it could be. Emotions are real, they're happening for a reason. Don't ever let someone tell you that your emotions are invalid...the cause may be, but your emotions are not. Still, responsibility is a two sided coin. We are responsible for letting our emotions breathe, but we cannot allow them to run us. Our choices and decisions, our words and commitments must be our own. To this end, I thought I may share some tactics with you about how to handle those emotions without doing something such as: "Telling your problems to others who do not want to hear them." Let's begin. There is something about Satanism, especially “traditional” atheistic Satanism codified by LaVey, that screams “narcissistic elitist egomaniac.” Of course, knowing we ‘LaVeyans’ as you do, you will know that this isn’t actually the case, but it does nevertheless dominate the opinion of society when we are center stage in its field of view. I struggle to pinpoint exactly where this comes from and in the end I find myself somewhat comfortable with the notion that it stems from all of the inspiration that Anton LaVey had from works such as “Anthem” and “Might is Right.” Dystopian struggle is a favored theme by many, and the idea of conquering the general glum and gloom of daily life to achieve what you want out of it is one of the things that we take pride in as Satanists. We spend our time in the pursuit of happiness, bettering ourselves, and enjoying this world in a deep capacity. Such being the case, it really doesn’t come to me by surprise then that there is something even more top secret in Satanic society, a stricter taboo of discussion than even SRA itself: Satanists with disabilities.
Recently I’ve been writing quite a bit about magic in Satanism and it’s apparent from the questions you’ve asked that you’re curious about what these terms mean to me as a Satanist since they mean other things in other religions. I’d be remiss if I didn’t explain my personal perspective in the philosophy to you fully since the goal of this blog is to clear up any misconceptions about Satanism! I thoroughly recommend giving The Satanic Bible a read for information on magic in Satanism which isn’t only my own opinion on it, but for those of you who are seeking clarification on the fundamentals and my use of the terms specifically in this blog, look no further.
